Cognac-coloured cowhide that only gets better with age: the Modi stool features a semi-aniline cover that keeps the hide's natural grain visible, giving the piece a warm, living surface. The wide corpus of eucalyptus solid wood, plywood and pine rests on a lacquered steel base – a combination that lends the stool stability and clean lines. Placed in front of a dark sofa in the living room it commands attention immediately; in the bedroom it serves as a generous surface and seat in one. Natural leather means no two pieces ever look exactly alike.
